€280.00
Enjoy delicious coffee at home or even at your coffee shop with the Moccamaster KBG 741. Every thoughtfully designed component of the Moccamaster works together to brew delicious coffee to industry standards every time. From the copper heating element to the shape of the brew basket.
Simple to use. The Moccamaster KBG 741 Select makes a half or full carafe of coffee in 4-6 minutes. The copper boiling element rapidly heats water to a brewing temperature of 92°C - 96°C. The boiling action moves the water up the glass tube. It flows into the outlet arm and pulses over the brew basket. Blooming the coffee grounds in a manual pour-over style. The cone-shaped brew basket steeps the coffee grounds. As a result, extracts the coffee's full flavor and maximizing its complexity, taste, and aroma. When the water reservoir is empty the Moccamaster automatically shuts off. Also, the brewer’s power switch and hotplate automatically shut off after 100 minutes.
Also, we recommend running two brew cycles of plain water before brewing your first pot of coffee.
Recommended Water-to-Coffee Ratio: For optimal flavor use 2 tbsp. of ground coffee to every 180ml of water. Otherwise, use 55 grams of ground coffee per liter. Use a medium to medium-coarse grind.
Basic Cleaning
You can clean the exterior of your brewer regularly with a moist cloth, wiping dry. After each use handwash carafe and brew basket with mild dishwashing detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Do not place the carafe in the dishwasher. To remove coffee oil stains from thermal carafes place a small amount of detergent and water in the carafe. Allow it to soak overnight.
We do not recommend descaling with vinegar. It may not effectively remove buildup. Also, it can be difficult to thoroughly rinse.
