Barista Skills Professional (SCA)
The SCA Barista Skills Professional course is essential for Head Baristas, Trainers and dedicated coffee professionals. At this level you can expect to explore the limits of your palate and current espresso technique. You will have the opportunity to spend time designing and evaluating brew recipes that are specific to the coffee, machinery and environment that you are in.
In particular, participants will learn a sophisticated tasting methodology and descriptive explanation of coffee flavors. You will gain a detailed understanding of drink ingredients and the techniques available to maximize the quality of the drinks. Also, you will understand how to manage the skills of others to produce quality drinks. Moreover, we will demonstrate an understanding of how to develop brew recipes and a systematic method of structuring beverage menus. Finally you will be able to consistently apply the highest standard of latte art and milk steaming techniques.
SCA Barista Skills Professional course includes practical and written exams. If you succeed in both, you will receive the SCA Certification of the Specialty Coffee Association. It is mandatory to have completed at least 3 months ago the Barista Skills Intermediate level and ideally have experience as a working barista. How to Book the course
You can either book the course online by following the steps on the form. Otherwise, you can pay via bank transfer or cash by contacting us at email@example.com
For cash payments a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
After completing your reservation and before the course date, you will be asked to pay 50€ Course Enrollment Fee directly to the SCA Portal.
Learners will not be able to take the written exam until the Course Enrollment Fee is paid.
